After years of business coaching, training, and process implementation in small companies, Founder and CEO Janice Jokkel saw a common theme.  Each client had unfinished tasks and wore multiple hats.  The tasks they seldom handled were answering their phones while out of the office, responding to email leads, managing marketing, and handling human resources tasks.  Each owner was so busy working "IN" their business instead of "ON" their business and stayed stuck, not getting out of the weeds.   Janice took a step further in helping her clients complete these daunting tasks by sharing her office assistant's hours.

This success sparked an idea!

On March 18, 2021, the office complex where her coaching company was located was sold, forcing an unexpected change. What initially felt like a setback became the catalyst that turned her vision into reality. 

On April 21, 2021, Janice ribbon-cut The Biz Hive office in Medina, Ohio! A boutique-style center with private offices and meeting room rentals; a virtual mailbox service that provides a "real address" for home-based businesses; and a talented team that provides office support for growing businesses.  

On August 1, 2022, The Biz Hive expanded by adding the Biz LeaderLab, a dedicated training center and coaching office, 

On August 23, 2024, The Biz Hive launched the ShipIt Store, an independent pack-and-ship store in the same office space, offering shipping solutions for FedEx and USPS, as well as document management and notary services.
